The Conkling Group Realtors were founded by sister-in-laws Rachel Conkling and Whitney Conkling. Rachel has been working in Houston real estate for 11 years and is a constant top producer. Whitney Conkling has been working in real estate for 9 years and in 3 different markets (Houston, New York and Boston). They teamed up forces in 2021 to create The Conkling Group Realtors because they had a shared commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We both believe that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions a person can make, and we want to be there every step of the way to ensure that our clients have a smooth and stress-free experience.
Rachel Conkling
A Top Producer for the last 11 years, with over 350 transactions under her belt, accumulating a career volume of almost $300+ million, Rachel Conkling is your go-to Houston realtor. A long-time Houstonian with a passion for real estate and an energy level that is unmatched. Buying or selling a home can be complicated and stressful, and Rachel’s goal is to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible from start to finish.
It is evident that her approach and knowledge throughout each transaction, have contributed to her remarkable success from day one: At her previous broker, she was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2019, recognized as the top producing new agent, 2014, received the award for Most Transactions with Buyers, 2016, and was one of the Top 25 Producing Agents 3rd Quarter 2016 and 2nd Quarter 2018. She was selected as one of the Houston Association of Realtors "Top 20 Under 40 Rising Stars," 2015. Recently, Rachel was a Houston Business Journal Residential Award Winner, 2022, ranked #25 in the city based on sales volume.
Rachel graduated from Second Baptist High School in Houston. She comes from "a long line of Longhorns," graduating from the University of Texas, Austin, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. Later she earned an M.B.A. from Houston Baptist University. She is a member of St. Martins Episcopal Church, serves on the board for The Children's Fund, Inc., and is a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. Rachel and her husband are the proud parents of two little girls and enjoy living in Memorial.
Whitney Conkling
Whitney, a native Houstonian and seasoned real estate agent, has over 9 years of experience with over 200 transactions in 3 different markets. With a vast knowledge about the Houston area, she has helped countless clients navigate the complex world of buying, selling, and investing in properties.
Whitney has a wealth of experience in the real estate industry, having been a top producing agent on two of the nation's leading teams in New York City and Boston prior to returning to her hometown of Houston. Her dedication to achieving her clients' real estate goals goes above and beyond, and she has now partnered with her sister-in-law Rachel Conkling to create The Conkling Group, a top producing team that delivers exceptional service to their clients.
Whitney has worked with a wide array of clientele from first time homebuyers to celebrities as she has helped them find their piece of the city to call home. Whitney's strength lies in her personalized guidance, attention to detail and keen negotiation skills. Being able to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners is essential in any industry, but particularly in real estate where trust and rapport are crucial.
Born and raised in Houston, Whitney's intimate knowledge of the local housing market makes her an invaluable resource to her clients. She graduated from Second Baptist High School and went on to earn a BFA from the Boston Conservatory. When she's not helping her clients find their dream homes, Whitney enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, their two children, and their beloved labradoodle in the Heights neighborhood.
